Hampton Butte Pendant

I've made a pendant from some Hampton Butte wood replacement jasper. Jeff Guild and I took a rock hounding trip in August to Oregon and California. It was a great fun and we found some nice stuff. This cabochon is from a slab that Jeff cut from a piece he dug. (He always seems to find the best stuff. Why is that?) Anyway I've been wanting to get back to the jeweler's bench and making more jewelry. So here is my latest creation. I can't wait to get back to Hampton Butte and do some more digging. I figure Jeff couldn't have taken all the good jasper.

Awesome work Jim! You continue to amaze us all with your spectacular work!

P.S. I seem to remember you did very well for yourself in Davis Creek at the obsidian digs. Could you even pick up that full bucket?

Jim, you make such nice stuff. Have you though about selling it at the local art festivals?
