Copper & Obsidian Needles Wind Chime

My latest wind chime art piece is made with copper that I fold formed and I added a brown patina. Obsidian needles hang down from the middle. The obsidian needles were mined down in California at Davis Creek. The chime has a wonderful tone to it.

New Neighbors

How exciting...
It looks like I might have new neighbors moving into my birdhouse on the back porch.

Chihuly Garden & Glass

Chihuly Garden and Glass is a nice place to visit for a splash of color on those grey rainy Seattle days. The museum showcases the studio glass of Dale Chihuly and is the largest glass museum in the world. It's located right next to the Space Needle.

New Pendants & Chain Bracelets

I have to say I'm happy to be back working on the jewelry bench.
The top image is a Bruneau jasper pendant. Bruneau Idaho is located south of Boise. The Bruneau river is really beautiful area if you are ever passing through there. The other jewelry piece is a sterling silver pendant with an ocean jasper cabochon. The material is from Madagascar and is mined during low tide. Ocean jasper so unique and is prized among jewelry artists.
I've created a few sterling silver Etruscan chain bracelets. It's a time consuming process and each link is soldered and then weaved into each other.
