Fall Leaves or Already Has Left

The last of the autumn leaves were hanging on the other day. So I ran outside when I noticed the fleeting blue sky and took a photo of some colorful leaves. Now the sunshine and leaves are gone have been replaced with high winds and rain. Welcome to Seattle.

Cruising Seattle

Friday night I went down to Jim & Roxanne's boat on Lake Union where we celebrated Jim's birthday and cruised around Seattle. It was a little cool out but as we headed back to the boat slip the clouds made for a picture perfect evening.

Seattle Aquarium Dive

A friend was visiting the Seattle Aquarium the other day and took some photos when I happen to be diving in the underwater dome. So I thought I'd post a couple of them on my blog. I've been volunteer there for over nine years now. Every time I dive there, I feel very lucky for the opportunity. It's just a lot of fun and a great way to spend time underwater. The Wolf Eels look ferocious but are really like little puppy dogs. They come out and swim right up to me to be feed by hand.

Hereeeeee's Archie

Archie Cooper is the cutest baby. Nicole and Campbell are the proud parents of the 8lb 6oz boy born April 13th. Congratulations!!!

Honey Bees & a Jet

This is video I made of my honeybee hive in my back yard. I placed my iphone at the base of the hive and shot towards the heavens not really knowing what would happen.

Joanna Strobel's 90th Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Joanna!!!!

Last Saturday we gathered to celebrate Joanna Strobel's 90th birthday at Anita and Eric's home. Joanna's birthday is actually on Jan. 13th, so the party was a few days early. There were many relatives and friends who traveled to come to the family event. It was great fun and a lovely evening with wonderful birthday cake made by Adam.
